Both Lucerne as well as Bern have some amazing hotels to offer its visitors. Although the price can vary from hotel to hotel, the hotels in Lucerne are generally cheaper than those in Bern. Therefore we recommend going to Lucerne instead of Bern if you don’t want to spend as much money on your hotel during your trip to Switzerland. However, a huge advantage of the hotels in Bern is that they often have a spa as well.
